St Mark tells us "Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury," then proceeded to comment on what each person gave. Seems odd doesn't it that Jesus would comment to His disciples on what a person put into the offering plate. But He had His reasons; Jesus was revealing what no one but God could see – the spiritual aspect of money.
